A rare 40 metre street frontage allows for a commanding street pressence in this leafy Brisbane suburb of Bardon. The design captures this by using strong horizontal lines with clean simple geometry. The walnut timber screening provides a deep rich warmth and texture to the exposed concrete finishes while the dark green landscaping softens the palette.

The extremely steep sight presented challenges with the client desiring a functional lawn area. Suspended concrete slab houses a feature courtyard and pool area that overlooks the surrounding bushland.

Construction finished in 2022.
