ASCOT

Featuring on Grand Designs Australia, I had the privledge to work on this unique Ascot home for Joe Adsett and his family. The iconic ‘L’ shape orientates to the North-East out to a garden sanctuary, pool and tennis court. At the junction of the two wings a central void houses a ribbon-like spiral staircase that provides a playful connection between the living and private spaces above. Timber framed sliding doors stack away to connect the living spaces to the garden - a critical element of the brief for this young family of four.

Completed in 2019 and airing on Grand Designs Australia in 2021 - this project taught me so much about construction and documentation throughout a projects lifecycle.

One of my most complicated projects to date - I was heavily involved throughout all stages of this project right from concept through to practical completion. This included significant onsite experience working with trades and manufacturers
